The general terms and conditions of the Hotel Astoria Bled online store are composed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS), and international codes for e-business. The Hotel Astoria Bled online store is an information system intended for the presentation and sale of products to users. It is managed by Hotel Astoria Bled, hereinafter referred to as “the provider.” A user is a person who uses our system, i.e., a buyer in the online store. Upon registration in the online store, the visitor receives a username, which is the same as their email address, specified by them in their profile, and a password. The username and password unequivocally identify and associate the user with the provided information. After registration, the visitor becomes a user and gains the right to make purchases. The general terms and conditions address the operation of the Hotel Astoria Bled online store, users' rights, and the business relationship between the provider and the buyer.
The provider commits to always providing the buyer with the following information: the identity of the company, contact addresses, essential characteristics of goods or services, product availability, delivery conditions of the product or service, all prices clearly and unambiguously specified, payment and delivery methods, the validity period of the offer, the deadline within which the buyer can withdraw from the contract, and conditions for withdrawal, as well as an explanation of the complaint process, including all information about the contact person or customer service.
In the Hotel Astoria Bled online store, the provider allows the following payment methods:

The provider issues an invoice to the buyer on a durable medium, detailing costs and instructions on how to withdraw from the purchase and return items if necessary and possible.
The purchase agreement (order) is stored electronically on the provider's server and is accessible to the buyer at any time in their user profile (My Profile).
The prices listed in the online store are irrevocable and apply only to orders made via the internet. Therefore, price discrepancies may occur between the online store and other stores in Slovenia for certain products. Prices are valid in the case of payment via the payment methods mentioned above, under the stated conditions. All prices include VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. Despite exceptional efforts to ensure the most current and accurate data, it may happen that a price is incorrect. In this case, or if the price of an item changes during order processing, the provider will allow the buyer to withdraw from the purchase while also offering a solution that satisfies both parties. If a product is out of stock, the price may change, of which the provider will inform the buyer. Images may be symbolic and do not always fully reflect the actual state.
The validity periods of promotions are indicated alongside the promotional offers themselves and may vary.
Order Received: Upon submitting an order, the buyer will receive an email notification that the order has been received. At this stage, the buyer has the option to cancel the order within one hour. Detailed information about the status and content of the order is always available to the buyer on the provider's website.
Order Confirmed: If the buyer does not cancel the order, it proceeds to further processing, where the provider reviews the order, checks the availability of the ordered items, and either confirms the order or rejects it for a reason. The provider may call the buyer on their contact phone number to verify data or ensure the accuracy of delivery. In the case of goods that the provider does not have in stock in their warehouse, the provider is solely dependent on delivery from their supplier and on the time in which the supplier can deliver the goods to the provider. The provider will inform the buyer via email about real-time updates concerning the delivery of goods. If the delivery time is too long and the buyer does not wish to wait, they may notify the provider, who will remove the item from the order and refund any payment made, while the other items from the order will be delivered according to the buyer's choice or the entire order will be canceled. The provider does not accept any responsibility for damages that may arise due to extended delivery times or due to non-delivery of goods not in stock in their warehouse.
Goods Shipped: The provider will prepare, dispatch the goods within the agreed timeframe, and notify the buyer via email. In the mentioned email, the provider will also inform the buyer about the return policy, whom to contact in case of delivery delays, and whom to contact in case of complaints.
The consumer has the right to notify the company of their withdrawal from the contract in writing within 15 days, at the contact email: marketing.astoria@vgs-bled.si. The consumer must then return the goods to the company within thirty days after writing to withdraw from the purchase, bearing the direct costs of return. The products must be unused and undamaged. A copy of the order must be included. The buyer bears the return shipping costs. The provider will refund the entire purchase price (purchase price and shipping costs) as soon as possible, no later than thirty days after receiving the notice of the consumer's withdrawal from the purchase.
Warranty terms apply to products in the online store in accordance with Slovenian legislation.
Delivery times are expressed in number of working days, specifically 3 days from payment by pro forma invoice of the order.
The provider must deliver the goods within the promised time. Delivery for the online store is performed by the Slovenian Post.
The provider uses appropriate technological and organizational measures to protect the transfer and storage of personal data, orders, and payments.
The provider commits to permanently protect all personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of RS No. 86/2004) and the Insurance Act. All data obtained through the website https://www.hotelastoria-bled.com will be used solely for sending informational materials, offers, invoices, and other necessary communications.
Advertising emails must be clearly and unambiguously marked as advertising messages. The sender must be clearly identifiable. The provider will unconditionally respect the user's desire not to receive advertising messages.
The provider strives to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the data published on its pages to the best of its ability. However, product characteristics, availability, and prices may change so quickly that the provider cannot correct the data on the website in time. In such cases, the provider will inform the buyer of the changes and allow them to cancel the order or exchange the ordered product. All product images are symbolic and do not guarantee product characteristics. We are not responsible for typographical errors.

The provider must confirm receipt of the complaint within five working days, inform the user how long it will take to address it, and continuously inform them about the progress of the process. The provider strives to resolve any disputes amicably to the best of their ability.
